As the Dietician, you ensure optimal nutritional care for all residents by conducting assessments, providing ongoing follow-up, and offering professional guidance to the Food Services Department.

Requirements
Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and a graduate of an approved Dietetic Internship.
Registered Dietician with a practicing membership in the College of Dieticians of BC
"Restricted Activity A" required
Membership in the Dieticians of Canada is preferred.

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Residential Care environment About The Role _ This position entails one day a week, with the potential for additional hours.

You'll also be tasked with covering vacation shifts when needed.

_ As the Dietician, you play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and evaluating residents' nutritional requirements and service provision.

You ensure compliance with regulations and standards, oversee menu planning, and provide consultation on nutrition-related matters. By leading quality improvement initiatives, you promote person-centred care and serve as a role model for the Wellness Model.

Your responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, participating in various meetings and training, and fostering positive relationships among residents, team members, and community partners.

By upholding health and safety standards, you demonstrate safe practices, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with infection control policies.
