Anova Resources Inc. is a junior oil and natural gas exploration and production company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. We are focused on sustainable, long-term growth through the exploration, development, and production of high-quality, conventional oil-focused assets located in southeastern Saskatchewan.
Founded in 2017 with less than one section of undeveloped land, Anova has since grown organically to over 80 gross sections producing over 2,200 boe/d. We are privately owned primarily by our management team and Board of Directors.
JOB OPPORTUNITY:
Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Receptionist in our Calgary office. The Receptionist is responsible for planning and overseeing all administrative support and office services for the company. This includes coordinating and communicating office activities, reception duties, shipping and receiving, supplies and stationery, and general troubleshooting. The successful candidate will have a good disposition and excellent ability to work in a collaborative team environment. The Receptionist job duties will include:
· Coordinate meetings, projects, and events
· Manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier, and other correspondence
· Answer and manage inbound telephone & general email inquiries
· Ensure adequate supplies of office stationery, general office supplies, furniture, and other equipment
· Manage inventory planning to minimize shortages
· Assist in the management of building services, such as the assignment of keys and alarm codes
· Maintain filing systems, databases, and basic diary/minutes
· Assist in managing invoices and various financial and accounting related tasks
· Perform other various tasks for the executive team in an efficient, timely and accurate manner
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
· Direct work experience in an office management capacity
· University degree, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
· Knowledge of accounting procedures involving invoicing and procurement
· Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control of these items
· Experience in managing third-party service providers
· Strong knowledge of software systems, as well as Microsoft Office products
· Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
· Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
· Strong customer service orientation
