As the **Receptionist** in our Calgary Distribution Centre, you are the face of Bartle & Gibson. This is a full-time position with a requirement to work Saturday mornings (9 am - 1 pm) on a rotational schedule. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, you will prove yourself to be an excellent representative for Bartle & Gibson by communicating clearly and professionally with individuals calling or visiting the branch while performing various basic clerical functions.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greet visitors and answer basic customer inquiries in person or via telephone
- Receive incoming calls and route them to the appropriate recipient using a multiline switchboard
- Process customer payments at the receptionist desk
- Perform recurring clerical duties such as filing, imaging, and data input
- Coordinate meetings and meeting rooms as needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements and hotel bookings as needed
- May help distribute mail
- Order supplies as required
- Other reception duties as required
- Other duties assigned by Managers when needed

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Quick responsiveness in a professional manner
- Very organized with high attention to detail
- Strong initiative and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**
- Minimum Grade 12 education **required**:

- Previous Customer service experience **required**:

- Prior reception or switchboard experience is an **asset**:

- Experience using Microsoft Office
