We have an exciting opportunity in our Toronto office for a Principal who will take the lead in the Public Market Sector for Kasian in Ontario and Eastern Canada. The role will provide leadership and mentorship to our team members, build a client roster through successful business development and RFP response, expanding our Public Sector with a focus on Institutional, Transportation and Municipal projects.

You have a proven track record in business development in Toronto and a history of profitable on-time project delivery for Institutional, Transportation and Municipal projects. You bring a wealth of experience in the Public sector and have extensive experience with integrated Architecture and Interior Design projects. Your strong sales funnel management knowledge and experience enable you to identify opportunities and land projects. You are an ethical, articulate, and responsible leader.

Experience working in a multi-office environment is essential, and as a strong team player, you partner well with Principals across all regions. You are a skilled leader of staff and your superior mentoring skills afford you the ability to build and motivate teams for higher level results.

Most importantly, you have an excellent reputation within the business community, are well-connected, and can bring an existing client network with you. You are a Registered Architect in Ontario and have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Grow Kasian’s Public Sector for the Toronto office and collaborate with other Principals to grow revenue across the Firm
  • Partner with other leaders in Toronto and across Kasian to land and deliver projects in an efficient and timely manner
  • Identify and create opportunities to raise Kasian’s profile
  • Personally lead strategic client pursuits and significant regional projects
  • Manage key projects
  • Ensure profitable project delivery;
    manage project financial performance
  • Build, lead, and inspire the local team
  • Be a role model and mentor;
    motivate others and effectively coach staff
  • Be the knowledge leader who ensures that a high degree of creativity and technical competence is a part of the firm's 'DNA'
  • Shape the Firm's vision and values, culture, and brand
