**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and Management:

- Provide leadership for the architectural discipline, hire and develop a team of architects and designers.
- Development and implementation of architectural strategies and standards.
- Ensure team productivity, motivation, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Business Development - responding to RFQs and RFPs

Project Oversight:

- Lead and manage complex architectural projects from concept through completion.
- Ensure projects meet client requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., engineering, construction, marketing) to align project goals and deliverables.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

- Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project scope and progress.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Address client inquiries and concerns, providing innovative solutions to design challenges.

Innovation and Design**:

- Drive architectural innovation by exploring new technologies, materials, and design methodologies.
- Develop creative, sustainable, and cost-effective architectural solutions.
- Maintain artistic and technical competency in architectural design and trends.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the design and construction process.
- Review and approve architectural plans, specifications, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Valid architecture license in Canada.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a licensed architect.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale architectural projects.
- ** Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in architectural design software 1
- Ability to develop and implement architectural strategies and standards.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements.
