TalentWorld is recruiting a Bilingual Operations Officer II in Mississauga, ON for one of our clients.

Bilingual Operations Officer II Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all deadlines for settlement dates and payouts of customer products are met in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with established SLAs.
  • Investigate payments made by customers towards their mortgages, home equity lines of credit, and bridge loans to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and understand the terms and conditions of customers' mortgages to facilitate accurate processing and documentation.
  • Examine and verify that client request letters from banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions comply with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies.
  • Collect crucial client data from solicitors and verify client property lien and property charge paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness of information provided.
  • Verify funds received from solicitors and other financial institutions, and approve payouts for secured products or facilities, such as mortgages, home equity lines of credit, and bridge loans.
  • Recognize and implement the bank's operational rules and processes, ensuring that all necessary precautions are taken to support the accuracy of daily client and partner transactions.

Bilingual Operations Officer II Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to navigate IT systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry roles.
  • Prior experience in banking, financial institutions, or bookkeeping is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proven track record of meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and deadlines.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Employment Details:

  • Salary: $25 an hour
  • Bilingual: French and English
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid (3 on-site, 2 days remote)
  • Training: 4 weeks (On-site)
  • Duration: 8 months contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
