We differentiate our services into two distinct roles: Inside Mortgage Agents (IMA), who operate directly under our corporate wing, and Outside Mortgage Agents (OMA), independent professionals who benefit from our expansive network and support.
About the role
We are introducing a pivotal role within our organization that stands at the crossroads of business development, recruiting, sales, marketing, and professional development.
This role is designed to spearhead our expansion efforts across Canada by engaging with small to medium-sized mortgage teams, promoting the unparalleled benefits of joining the 8Twelve Mortgage PowerNetwork (8TPN).
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic force, adept in navigating the landscape of the mortgage industry, fostering relationships, and driving substantial growth.
● Travel across Canada to meet with prospective OMA teams, presenting the value and
benefits of aligning with 8TPN.
● Develop and implement strategies for recruitment and business development, targeting a
goal of onboarding 400 OMAs by the end of 2024.
● Leverage social media platforms and public speaking opportunities to enhance visibility
and attract potential partners.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for OMAs, ensuring a seamless transition and
integration into our network.
● Coordinate with internal teams to provide consistent, comprehensive support to all
members of 8TPN.
● Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, regulatory changes, and
competitive landscapes to adapt strategies accordingly.
Required Qualifications and Skills
● Licensed Mortgage Agent (Level 2 or higher) with substantial experience in the
Canadian mortgage brokerage industry.
● Proven track record in sales, with a flair for negotiation and closing deals.
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining
strong relationships.
● Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Canada.
● Proficient in leveraging social media for professional branding and networking.
● A motivated self-starter, persistent and driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and
exceed targets.
