About the role:

This role will work closely with our Head of Sales to deliver our annual revenue plan for the Lifestyle, Food Service, Away from Home, and Hospitality channel across North America. This role is integral to the development and growth of Blume; you will use your passion for building relationships to effectively and efficiently build sales volume and brand presence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new channels for Blume with focus on food service & hospitality, including distributor onboarding, identifying key customers and markets, and building relationships
  • Build sales strategy for new channels to help achieve Blume’s growth objectives
  • Foster current B2B relationships with regular communication, in-store visits, event planning and management. Go deep with our existing customers.
  • Seek, create and develop new business opportunities within the cafe and boutique/lifestyle channel
  • Partner with store owners and associates to achieve prominent merchandising placement as well as secondary display
  • Lead product education trainings for new store openings + new product launches
  • Offer best in class customer service to existing retail partners
  • Occasional evening + weekend events to help support your key accounts, brand activation as well as trade shows
  • Work collaboratively with our marketing and brand team to bring in-store events to life
  • Exceed sales objectives, targets and defined KPI’s
  • Generate weekly and monthly sales reports and logs
  • Maintain and update our B2B customer database
  • Other administrative duties as required


Skills + Experience:

  • Results driven and solutions oriented approach
  • Great interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
  • Agile and can work in a startup environment
  • A genuine interest in health and wellness
  • Self starter and continuous learner
  • Previous experience in CPG is an asset.
  • Event management and activation
  • Experience in food service, away from home, or hospitality channels
  • Experience working with distributors and brokers in the CPG Space
  • 5+ years experience in sales


Requirements:

  • Location: Remote in Toronto GTA
  • Monday-Friday and some weekends for events and trade shows
  • This role will involve customer outreach and service, both in person and virtually
  • Have a car + driver’s license (mandatory)
  • Efficient in Microsoft applications and GSuite a requirement
  • Travel both Regional and Nationally, as required, ~30% of the time
  • Cell Phone Required
