Forge Recruitment is currently engaged in a search for an experienced Litigation Law Clerk/Legal Assistant for a mid-sized Toronto based law firm. Prepare litigation briefs, summaries of evidence, and medical records
Prepare monthly bills and accounts
Administrative support, including organizing and maintaining files
Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent
4+ years of experience as a litigation law clerk or assistant and able to work independently
Decisiveness and ability to carry out law clerk responsibilities with minimal direction/supervision
Working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and experience with Superior Court filings
Very computer literate, including litigation support programs
Detail oriented with excellent proofreading skills
Must be flexible to meet the daily needs of the practice
