Can-Tech Services is looking for a Pipefitter for one of our reputable Food & Beverage Manufacturing clients in the Toronto area.
Our client is a multinational confectionery, food, and beverage company.

The position is a Full-Time and Permanent Position directly with the client.

04 per hour (Shift premium will be added)

Shift: Continental (Days/Nights)

The successful applicant will be responsible for lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems.
Install supports, valves, piping and control systems.
Test system for leaks using testing equipment.
Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system.
Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment.
Be responsible to ensure compliance to food safety and HACCP principles for your respective area and other duties as assigned.

A good working knowledge of both written and oral English as some documentation and report writing is required.
Completion of four to five year apprenticeship program.
Must posses a steam fitters license.
Computer literacy and prior experience with PLC interface.
