The Manager of Grace Mansion will work under the direction of the Director of Housing and Shelter Programs to give leadership to the Residential Worker Team in providing the Residents of Grace Mansion with opportunity for personal growth and development.
Be a member of the Management Team.
Perform administrative functions as necessary in absence of Director. Manage regular daily aspects of Residential Services at Grace Mansion in accordance with the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
Plan, develop, maintain, and monitor all aspects of service delivery and implement new ideas and programs to meet changing needs of residents and our community.
Oversees effective and appropriate case management system and practices. 
Will conduct monthly case management meetings with individual Residential Workers.
Supervise and direct Residential Worker Team, with responsibility for conducting Residential Worker Personnel Evaluations, working with the Director of Housing and Shelter Programs in areas of Staff Complaints and Discipline.
Schedule, organize, and conduct Residential Worker Meetings and Training opportunities, arranging for preparation and distribution of related material and Minutes.
Develop and maintain working relationships with various community agency / resources as directed, and as useful for Residential care.
Maintains an open relationship with residents, staff, and other groups having an interest or connection with the facility.
Work alongside Residential Workers when residents relapse or have mental health crises, helping to create positive plans and directions for residents’ future. 
Decision making on resident discharges, probation contacts, and occupancy extensions.
Assist with the planning, development and revision of Policies, Employee and Resident’s Handbooks, Application Forms, protocols, and day to day operating procedures in conjunction with and under direction of the Director.
Represent Grace Mansion and The Salvation Army in Community Councils and Meetings as directed by the Director of Housing and Shelter Programs.
Participate with Residents in scheduled instructional, spiritual or social activities as required.
Assist with the collection of statistical information for SAMIS reporting purposes.
He/She has input to new policies and procedures pertaining to the management of financial resources OR The incumbent is responsible for consultation on management and monitoring of multi-department or organizational budgets or revenue projections and liaises with auditors, or funding officials. He/She establishes new policies and procedures pertaining to the management of financial resources (may be for the whole organization).
The incumbent is responsible for managing employees in more than one department or function, usually through other supervisors. He/She manages supervisory employees. The incumbent directly supervises 10 plus full-time employees, part-time employees, and/or volunteers and indirectly supervises 2-5 full-time equivalent employees.
The incumbent’s work environment is typically in the office.
The incumbent carries a pager/cell phone and may be contacted in emergency situations.
The job incumbent may be exposed to the risk of minor harm, injury or illness.
The successful job applicant will have completed an Undergraduate University degree (e.g., The successful applicant will hold/have special licenses, diplomas, certificates, or requirements: The performance of the job requires frequent keyboarding and sitting for long periods.
The performance of the job requires moderate attention when attending long meetings, brainstorming/planning and reading reports.
Successful obtainment of clearance through The Salvation Army Child Abuse Registry
TERMS : Regular, Full-time (40 hours/week)
