Job Description As a Global Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial and accounting functions of the international operations. Traveling to various countries overseas to establish and manage accounting and finance operations.
Ensuring compliance with local regulations and statutory requirements in each country of operation.
Setting up accounting systems, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Hiring, training, and managing local finance teams to support operational needs.
Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business performance.
Conducting research on local compliance and regulatory requirements to ensure adherence.
Collaborating with local and international teams to streamline processes and optimize financial performance.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and will possess a recognized Canadian or US accounting designation, CPA (CA, CGA CMA)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably with international exposure.
Ability to adapt to different cultures, business practices, and regulatory environments.
Proficiency in researching and interpreting local compliance and regulatory requirements.
Canadian, US, or UK passports are required for international travel with no restrictions for international travel.
Flexibility to relocate every 6+ months based on business needs.
