(Associate) Procurement Officer

Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking Procurement Agent (Entry Level or Associate) , reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office.
The Procurement Agent will join the Supplier Chain Department, become part of a dynamic team and will be working with internal and external stakeholders.
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
• Analyze and track supplier Key Performance Indicators to provide input on risks.
• Integrate with production, quality, engineering, in-service, and other key stakeholders to resolve issues impacting production or fleet.
• Monitors schedules and adjusts inventory balances.
• Participates in performance reviews and cross functional improvement teams.
Experience working with Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment
• Must have experience working within Microsoft Office based applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)
• Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
• 2+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices and processes
• Must have experience working with Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) or other Material Requirements Planning Systems (MRP system)
• Experience in Supplier Performance Management
• Inventory Management experience
• Level 1:
Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
Level 2:
Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
