#Planning, scheduling, and estimating design engineering effort on projects from the conception of project design to issue of all drawings and specifications for construction.
Prepare and/or review cost estimates, schedules, risk assessment and elements of project design.
Develop project strategy to ensure key issues are identified early and to ensure project goals of quality, schedule and cost are achieved.
Interpret project specifications and scope to all engineering disciplines.
Review and approve all designs to ensure conformity with project specifications, project scope, company practices and sound engineering practices.
Preparing and updating engineering control documents
Monitor design changes, contract extras, and support development of change orders.
Main technical contact with the client
Mentor other engineers within the project engineering team.
Required to provide professional designation on projects you are engaged in
Develop technical drawings and deliverables such as P&IDs and Line List
University graduate in engineering or applied science with a minimum of 8 years working experience primarily in an EPC environment.
Needs to be able to maintain and update the schedule to record project performance, document project changes and track trends to inform stakeholders of project status.
Coordinate meetings, creates project status reports and communicates the project status to different groups, including clients.
Proven ability to produce high quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines.
Knows, understands, and complies with all client and corporate procedures.
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams.
