À titre de Directeur(rice) - Administration des placements, au sein de la Vice-présidence Finances corporatives, vous jouez un rôle essentiel :

  • Vous êtes responsable des volets administratifs reliés aux opérations de placements des fonds généraux et des fonds distincts de la Société
  • En collaboration avec les autres secteurs de la Société, vous voyez aux opérations relatives à l'administration financière des placements, incluant le maintien et le suivi des portefeuilles, l'évaluation des placements, la gestion de collatéral, le suivi de la performance et le calcul des valeurs unitaires quotidiennes. Vous considérez l'impact critique de toutes ces opérations sur les affaires de la Société
  • Dans un environnement dynamique et en pleine évolution, vous mobilisez votre équipe et amenez ses joueurs à développer leur plein potentiel

Vous vous réalisez dans les tâches et fonctions suivantes :

  • S'assurer de l'administration et du contrôle adéquat des portefeuilles de placements et de l'évaluation quotidienne des fonds distincts; voir au respect des politiques de placements établies pour les fonds distincts et les fonds généraux de la Société.
  • Planifier, superviser et contrôler les opérations relatives à la constitution des fonds distincts, incluant le lancement, la fermeture, le transfert d'actif et le changement de gestionnaires
  • Veiller à ce que l'évaluation quotidienne des fonds distincts et de l'évaluation mensuelle des fonds généraux soit adéquate
  • Maîtriser les principes et normes applicables, anticiper les changements et participer à l'élaboration des orientations et des objectifs reliés aux activités placées sous sa responsabilité.
  • Voir à la production des informations financières relatives aux fonds distincts et généraux pour les différents besoins de la Société
  • Voir à l'élaboration, la conception et le contrôle des processus nécessaires à l'administration, la comptabilisation et la diffusion des informations financières relatives aux placements.
  • Veiller à la production périodique des suivis de performance des gestionnaires de placements internes
  • Superviser le processus de gestion de collatéral relié à l'utilisation d'instruments financiers dérivés de gré à gré ainsi que le processus de gestion des marges relié à l'utilisation de contrats à terme
  • Voir à la diffusion de différentes informations de marchés afin de combler les besoins des autres secteurs de la Société
  • Veiller à l'utilisation efficiente et l'évolution des systèmes d'administration financière des placements; soumettre des recommandations visant le développement, l'évolution et l'intégration de ces systèmes
  • Veiller à l'optimisation constante des processus tout en s'assurant de suivre l'évolution de l'industrie
  • Être mobilisateur pour l'équipe en favorisant l'accélération de son potentiel et en maintenant des mécanismes de rétroaction sur une base continue
  • Coordonner les travaux requis par les auditeurs externes, les inspecteurs des gouvernements et des organismes de réglementation
  • Élaborer les moyens d'améliorer l'efficacité et la rentabilité des opérations dont vous êtes responsable
  • Participer à la sélection, à l'encadrement et au développement de l'équipe sous votre responsabilité; évaluer périodiquement son rendement
  • Identifier et soumettre à votre gestionnaire les besoins en ressources humaines et matérielles pour votre direction; contrôler les dépenses en fonction du budget; réviser périodiquement la situation et recommander les corrections requises

Vos qualifications et vos talents :

  • Baccalauréat dans une discipline pertinente au poste
  • Minimum de 7 années d'expérience pertinente dont au moins 3 années dans la gestion d'équipe dans le domaine des placements ou expérience transférable
  • Bonnes connaissances de l'administration des placements et des normes comptables applicables ou connaissances transférables
  • Maitrise avancée des langues française et anglaise, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, en raison de la nature des tâches, des outils de travail ou d'interactions avec des collègues, partenaires, clients ou fournisseurs anglophones, ou afin de répondre aux objectifs de croissance de l'entreprise
  • Titre CPA ou CFA, un atout
