Olds AB, Canada St. Clement's School Full time

Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a part-time (0.25) temporary teaching position at Horizon School in Olds (Grades K-12, approximately 35 students), effective the first day of the 2024-2025 school year to June 30, 2025. Horizon School provides an alternate program for students who require a variety of specialized supports. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaboratively developing and implementing programming that supports individualized student goals, leading program review meetings with support staff, monitoring student progress and communicating with parents. Preference will be given to candidates with behaviour specialization and a background in adapted and modified programming at all grade levels. Experience in life skills programming would be an asset.

We ask that applicants prepare both a cover letter and resume, complete with the names and telephone numbers of three current work related references. Cover letters can be addressed to Ray Hoppins, Associate Superintendent – People Services Chinook’s Edge School Division. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The successful applicant will possess a valid Alberta Teacher Certificate, and be required to provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
