Galvion designs, develops, and manufactures ballistic helmets and dynamic power and data management solutions for the modern battlefield. Galvion has an unique opportunity for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team supporting R&D and Project operations. You will be a trusted financial partner for all internal finance and business leaders. You will bring fresh insights, a business mindset and help us more efficiently support the growth of the business.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis of our various product R&D departments. You will also work on costing, pricing, financial modeling, and ROI analysis. Provide budgeting and forecasting support to senior leaders in a matrix organization and support programs and bid teams for new business.
Develop a meaningful monthly reporting and analysis package to support operational reviews.
Direct the development and monitoring of KPIs.
Prepare business case and post-mortems analysis for product R&D projects.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Strong business acumen, ability to manage ambiguity, and confidence to collaborate with and present to senior leadership teams.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience (CPA and/or CMA designation is an asset, but not required)
Prior experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI (an asset).
