Job Description

Mission

CIMA+ is looking for a landscape architect (Project Manager) with a creative mind and strong technical skills to join our multidisciplinary engineering, Environmental and earth science team.

In collaboration with their team, the person will participate in the development of various landscaping projects and will be involved in projects from conception to completion.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise and control the quality of deliverables
  • Analyse sites
  • Create design and prepare drafts
  • Prepare plans and specifications, and produce construction documents (coloured plans, visual simulations)
  • Estimate cost of required materials
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders
  • Write studies, guides and reports (in English and French)
  • Monitor constructions sites

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, M.A.P (an asset)
  • Valid membership of the Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec (AAPQ)
  • Good knowledge of the various stages, from design to completion, of public and private development projects
  • Excellent knowledge of plants, materials and assembly principles, as well as construction techniques
  • Show great interest in phytotechnology and multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Have 5 or more years of relevant experience
  • Technical drawing skills in AutoCAD, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of 3ds Max, Lumion, Sketch-Up (an asset)
  • Good knowledge of landscaping laws, regulations, policies and guides
  • Fluency in French and English. Fluency in both languages is an essential requirement for this position, as it enables writing of documents in the required language, as well as communicate effectively with all involved stakeholders
