This is a part-time position to work 12 hours shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and statutory holidays. The RN provides direct care to patients within the framework of the Registered Nurse. The RN will work in collaboration with and interact with all members of the Intensive Care Unit multidisciplinary team and other personnel. Demonstrates actions consistent with hospital policies and procedures.
Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.
Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required
Certifications for ECG, defibrillation, intravenous certification, IV medication, epidural, and pulmonary artery monitoring required
Critical Care Program certificate required
Keyboarding skills and knowledge of Meditech and OmniCell would be a definite asset
