The HRBP will be an extension of the greater HR team and will be responsible for managing and supporting all HR functions for the St-Hubert Farm, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent development, disability management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations, including CNESST.

Develop and execute HR plans and programs that align with the business goals of GoodLeaf Farms and corporate People strategies.
Provide guidance and support to the management team of the Calgary Farm on all HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, disability.
Work closely with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to manage the recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
Be a positive ambassador of GoodLeaf Farms and onboard and orientate new team members, ensuring they are introduced to the larger team, are integrated into their role and the culture, and receive the necessary training and tools to succeed and work independently in their role.
Work with the larger HR Team to help develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with employment laws and regulations.
Lead the performance management process in the Calgary Farm, including coaching hiring managers on conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and identifying development opportunities.
Manage employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and lead employee social events.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and develop and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage and support other HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Diriger le processus de gestion des performances dans la ferme de Calgary, y compris l'accompagnement des gestionnaires d'embauche dans la conduite des examens de performance, la définition des objectifs et l'identification des opportunités de développement.
Gérer les initiatives d'engagement des employés, y compris les enquêtes auprès des employés, les programmes de reconnaissance et diriger les événements sociaux des employés.
Gérer et soutenir d'autres projets et initiatives liés aux ressources humaines, selon les besoins.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
~5+ years experience as an HRBP in a fast-paced (food) manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in both large company and start-ups.
~ Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations in Calgary, Alberta, and Canada.
~ Proven track record of successful recruitment, sourcing, and placement of new hourly and salaried hires.
~ Experience managing HR projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
~ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive HR decisions.
~ Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, en administration des affaires, en psychologie ou dans un domaine connexe.
