Director of Employee Wellbeing and Total Rewards

Reporting to the Vice President of People and Culture, the Director of Employee Wellbeing and Total Rewards is accountable for NB Power's pension and benefit programs, payroll/compensation processing and HRIS program (Peoplesoft). Additionally, the Director of Employee Wellbeing and Total Rewards is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive wellbeing strategy which includes robust return-to-work programs and accommodation as well as resource management, strategy attainment, regulatory requirements related to payroll and continuous improvement.
Our ideal teammate has experience leading and bringing about significant organizational change in a complex environment while building a culture of continuous improvement and client service excellence. You possess extensive knowledge of compensation programs, policies, procedures and applicable legislation. You have expertise in wellbeing and benefits programs.
Establish strategic direction for NB Power's Wellbeing and Total Rewards programs and services.
Oversee compensation, benefits and pension activities and ensuring collective agreements, reward and benefits policies are aligned.
Benchmark best practices, performance and metrics and implement improvements within the department to ensure NB Power remains current with similar industries.
Eight years of progressive experience in at least two Human Resources fields such as Wellbeing, Compensation, Benefits, Pension and HRIS systems.
