8-hour shift (Monday to Friday)

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Equipment Buyer. We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and products necessary for our operations while ensuring optimal pricing and quality. This role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management capabilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes. The Buyer will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory levels and supporting the overall production goals of the organization
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and source commercial kitchen equipment and supplies from reliable vendors domestically and internationally.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure the best value for the company.
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely acquisition of materials.
- Utilize SAP software for inventory management and order processing.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality standards are met.
- Analyze purchasing trends and market conditions to make informed buying decisions.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and inventory levels for management review.
- Work closely with the sales, operations, and finance teams to understand business needs and align procurement strategies.
- Provide support in planning and budgeting for large-scale projects or bulk purchases.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement-related documents.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and relevant legal requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / Bachelors degree required
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software (SAP)
- Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus
- Experience in sourcing and purchasing restaurant equipment and supplies
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost analysis
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
