Accounts Payable Coordinator Burlington, ON
Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance? We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage and control supplier invoices from third parties and inter-company invoices. As a self-starter, you will ensure full adherence to GAAP accounting practices and principles, leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable. Reconcile vendor accounts and prepare monthly supplier statement reports.
~ Assist in month-end ledger closing and account control.
~ Prepare payment proposals, enter payment data, and conduct EFT runs.
~ Handle online bill payments, cheque runs, and reconcile purchasing cards (AMEX Pcard).
~ Verify data for third-party vendors, including vendor name, tags, currency, and tax information.
~ 3+ years’ experience in full cycle accounts payables.
~ Strong English communication skills (verbal and written); French is an asset.
~ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (power pivot, advanced formulas) and ERP accounting systems.
