Telesat is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, and has offices and facilities around the world.
The company’s state-of-the-art fleet consists of 15 GEO satellites, the Canadian payload on ViaSat-1 and one LEO 3 demonstration satellite. This is why our employees generally work from the office Tuesday - Thursday, leaving Monday and Friday for choice and flexibility to work where you feel most effective. This setup fosters brainstorming, problem-solving, and trusted relationships and allows our marketing team to come together three days a week to collaborate, innovate and thrive
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Co-op Student to join our team. You will work closely with our team to support various projects and initiatives. This role involves assisting with development plan implementation and monitoring, data analysis, administrative tasks, and contributing ideas to help drive innovation within the team. Assist with research tasks, including gathering data and analyzing findings.
Support project managers in organizing and executing project plans.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to project development.
Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, and organizing documents.
Utilize various software tools and platforms to support project work and communication.
Stay informed about industry and project management trends and best practices to contribute fresh perspectives and ideas.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met in a timely manner.
Complete assigned tasks and projects within designated timelines, demonstrating accountability and reliability.
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Jira and Agile methodology is an asset.
Adaptability and willingness to contribute to various tasks and projects as needed.
