As the Quality Assurance Manager at The Bama Companies in Tulsa, OK, you will be the driving force behind our Food Safety and Quality programs, providing strategic direction and leadership that ensures our products meet the highest standards. We're looking for a self-motivated individual who embodies a strong sense of ownership and accountability, ready to take charge and lead cross-functional teams to success. Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll work closely with various departments like Sanitation, Sales, Operations, and more to deliver excellence in every aspect of our operations.

Reporting to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Food Safety/Quality Systems Director, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to quality and safety.

To excel as the Quality Assurance Manager at The Bama Companies in Tulsa, OK, you'll need a diverse skill set that includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field. Along with 4-6 years of experience in food manufacturing, familiarity with USDA and FDA regulations is crucial. Desirable qualifications include Ready-To-Eat food manufacturing experience, Six Sigma Certification, FSPCA certification, and a range of other certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor, CIP/Fluid Systems Certified, GMP Audit Certified, Micro Certified, and Sensory Certified. Your expertise in these areas will be essential in leading our team to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in our food production processes.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Food Safety

Microbiology

Food Science or biology related discipline

• Minimum 4-6 years of food manufacturing experience (USDA

Produce

etc.)

• Ready-To-Eat food manufacturing experience is desirable

• Experience with FDA and/or USDA Rules and Regulations
