We deliver a range of programs, services and initiatives to help our members and partners deliver quality patient care and improve Ontario’s health care system.Chiropractors are one of the most frequently accessed non-physician primary contact health care providers in Canada. Annually, nearly 2.7 million patients in Ontario rely on chiropractic care. The role of the Programs Coordinator will play a vital support role in the planning and execution of various OCA programs and initiatives designed to enrich the experience of members and enhance the value of their membership. Reporting to the Manager, Member Programs and Interim Manager, Member Engagement, this position offers a great opportunity for a proactive, self-starter with a passion for healthcare and a desire to grow within the association / non-profit field.Specifically, you will:Coordinate the effective delivery of a portfolio of member programs and initiatives including, but not limited to, the Mentorship program, the New Graduate Volunteer Membership program, the Awards program, and the OCA Advance Webinar and Workshops program,Provide support in preparing materials, sourcing and analyzing information, tracking progress, monitoring timelines, and following up on outstanding items for member programs as required,Handle confidential information and maintain the security of all records and files,Coordinate and prepare documents for internal and external meetings,Provide insight on the capacity and thresholds of program activities,Provide administrative support to various advisory councils, committees, and working groups,Support in-person engagements and member events on-site as needed*, andPerform special projects and duties as assigned. *Occasional weekend availability may be required which will be communicated in advanceRequired Skills and ExperienceEssential:The preferred candidate will have the following skills, experience, and abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines,Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with members, staff, and external stakeholders,Fluency in English languageIdeal:Experience with coordinating group work with multiple stakeholders,Experience with SalesForce and database management systems preferred, andFluency in French would be an asset.Are you excited by this opportunity?Consider this outstanding opportunity to help expand chiropractic care for Ontarians.
