As a member of our Reward and Recognition team, you will be a subject matter expert on all aspects of Compensation. The Director of Compensation will report to the SVP Director of Compensation. This role will be responsible for the build out of compensation strategies that reflect that compensation philosophies and goals of IPG Health globally.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all compensation matters, including job evaluation, market pricing/survey participation, job architecture, salary range development and wage compliance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the current non-US compensation programs to ensure local market competitiveness, cost effectiveness, and alignment to company strategy and goals. Coordinate with local HR directors to achieve balanced cost-effective solutions that are competitive and are aligned with company goals.
  • Provide compensation consultation to key stakeholders on handling exceptions, applying policy, seeking alternative solutions, and diagnosing challenges.
  • Administer executive compensation programs and equity-based incentives, working closely with executive leadership and IPG Corporate.
  • Stay informed about relevant labor and tax laws globally ensuring that all compensation programs are compliant with government and tax regulations.
  • Design and provide compensation educational training, materials and communications to leaders, employees, and managers as well as keep HR business partners, talent acquisition aware of changing compensation landscape. Enhance the awareness of our compensation philosophy, practices, and values.
  • Develop metrics validating the effectiveness of our programs against business objectives and present the data in the most effective and efficient way.
  • Providing leadership on compensation projects assisting the SVP of Compensation with developing strategy for completion and resource planning.

Required

  • A minimum of 6 years of successfully designing and implementing Compensation Programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, human resource administration or equivalent work experience.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of compensation design, benchmarking, administration, and engagement for both salaried and hourly employees.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in formulas, functions, pivots and summarizing data.
  • A track record of designing and implementing successful and creative compensation programs.
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly and to grasp big picture concepts as well as details; demonstrated business and financial acumen to translate the needs of core business functions into solutions.
  • Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and issues and exercise good judgment in recommending resolutions.
  • Critical thinker
  • Data aptitude, your business recommendations are based on solid quantitative analysis.
  • Global compensation experience (EMEA, Canada, Asia, Latin America)

Preferred

· Formal certifications, such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and compensation coursework a plus.

$165,000to $185,000 annually.

Director Compensation
