Your primary responsibilities will include:


The National Director, IT (Director) will serve as the key technology figure within a national cooperative The Director will primarily oversee and manage the cooperative's Microsoft Office 365 (O365) tenant, Azure infrastructure, and email namespace. The role involves collaborating with technology teams to ensure seamless and effective integration of Microsoft O365 services, while respecting the autonomy of each entity regarding their on-premise technology deployments.


Key Responsibilities: * O365 Tenant Management:


Oversee the administration and operation of the O365 tenant across legal entities.
Ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance standards are met.
Lead the strategic planning and execution of O365 integrations and updates.
Azure UPN and Email Namespace Administration:

Manage Azure UPN configurations to maintain a cohesive identity across entities.
Administer the shared email namespace, ensuring efficient and secure email communication.
Collaborative Decision-Making:

Work closely with individual legal entities to understand their unique cultural and operational needs.
Facilitate decision-making processes for O365-related matters that accommodate the diverse perspectives and requirements of each entity.
Policy Development and Governance:

Develop and implement policies for the use and governance of technology infrastructure while respecting the autonomy of individual legal entities.
Training and Support:

Provide guidance and support surrounding O365 features and best practices.
Organize training and resources to enhance user proficiency and adoption.
Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary liaison between Microsoft and the cooperative.
Engage regularly with technology leaders to ensure alignment and address concerns.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of new developments in O365 and related technologies.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
Budget and Resource Management:

Manage the budget for O365 subscriptions and related expenditures.
Allocate resources effectively to support the cooperative’s technology goals.
Risk Management and Compliance:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with the use of O365 and Azure UPN.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Reporting and Analytics:

Monitor and report on the usage, performance, and impact of O365 services.
Provide insights to guide strategic decisions and investments.
A successful candidate will have:
Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably within a complex or multi-entity organization.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem including on-premise, Microsoft O365, Azure services, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to navigate cultural differences and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Environment: The Director will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, requiring regular interaction with various legal entities and stakeholders. The role may involve travel to different entity locations for meetings and collaborative projects. Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong focus on cooperative success are essential.
