Read on…As Quorum’s Junior Developer, you will participate in multiple projects, creating solutions that meet market needs relating to developing, testing, and maintaining products. The Junior Developer is responsible for designing fully functioning, debugged code with required documentation that meets development goals.Here is what we will expect from you at work:Initial tasks would include coding exciting and innovative new features and enhancements to a desktop automotive DMS (Dealership Management System) application. The longer-term goal would be to transition to more complex tasks including web application development.Complete assigned tasks in an effective and efficient manner using best coding practicesCollaborate with the Team Lead and your peers in finding the best solutions to our most challenging development tasks.Here is the kind of candidate we are looking for:An IT diploma or equivalent is required for this positionExperience in the development of user interfacesExperience with PowerBuilder (or similar desktop application development IDE)Experience with C# .NETRelational database knowledge (experience with Transact-SQL in a SQL Server environment)Experience with JSONExperience with XMLExperience with Git/GitHubExperience with Scrum MethodologyExperience with Scrum JiraExceptional organizational and time management skillsProven ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environmentAble to work effectively as a team player or work independently with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.Superb verbal and written communication skillsEnjoy problem solving and able to work with little supervisionAdditional RequirementsCriminal background check required.How we workWe believe that to do our best work and solve some interesting challenges, there must be freedom to explore and work in a manner that inspires one’s most meaningful contribution.
