NES Fircroft is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the oil & gas Industry.Job Title: Systems TechnicianLocation: NWT, Canada - FIFO or EdmontonLength: 12 Month contract to startRotation: 14/14, 12-hour daysJob Description:As a Clients Systems Technician, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing the Process Control & PI system, with a key role in preventative maintenance and strategic development for controls equipment. Manage Industrial Control System Requirements (ICSR) and Alarm Management.Oversee communication programs, radio licensing, and agreements.Interface with contractors and develop supervision plans.Administer site ICSR compliance, lead Alarm Management Meetings, and manage system networking.Provide support for EMIT initiatives, SAP closeouts, and inventory maintenance.Assist with other trades as needed and offer remote backup coverage during weekends or vacations.Good experience in O&GInstrumentation technician experience is a mustOversee communication programsAlarm managementRadio licensing and agreementsMore than 5 years of experience in this type of roleExpectations:Good experience in O&GInstrumentation technician experience is a mustOversee communication programsAlarm managementRadio licensing and agreementsMore than 5 years of experience in this type of roleApply here or send your resume to trevor.
