To support our rapid growth, Wasserman has built a robust internship program designed to introduce driven, hard-working students and young professionals to the sports and entertainment industry, and our company. As an Experience intern, you will support the ideation, development, and execution of experience driven programs with some of Canada’s biggest and most impactful brands within the sports landscape. Hires will be exposed to aspects of event & hospitality project planning such as implementation, vendor negotiation/management and on-site execution. As Wasserman supports hybrid working environments, the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, in addition to remote working .
Contribute to the ideation and creative brainstorming process of our client projects
Support team with the logistics, planning and execution of events across Canada
Support with the development of pre and post-event reports, including key learnings, insights, analysis, implications, and recommendations
Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, with laser-sharp attention to detail, time management and exceptional organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
Proficient with social media channels
Experience in experiential marketing/events is an asset
A knowledge and interest in sports and golf specifically is an asset
Valid driver’s license and passport are considered an asset

Direct experience or working knowledge of experiential marketing or event planning
Educational background is nice to have but not mandatory - Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in marketing, event planning and/or business
