Simmons & Hanbury are instructed by a private equity backed high-growth Fintech business on a newly created Legal Counsel hire based in Toronto, Canada
Leading negotiation of customer agreements, third-party supplier contracts and other commercial agreements.
Working on the contract lifecycle management strategy and collaboration with other teams in the business.
Working with the Compliance function to counsel on regulatory issues and legal requirements.

At least four years experience in an attorney position at a highly ranked law firm or start up/fintech.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a regulated backdrop.
