Job Description:

· Conduct comprehensive safety training sessions for new hires, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.

· Review and update the Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) program and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) books.

· Ensure safety programs and handbooks are site-specific and aligned with facility operations.

· Investigate and report accidents/incidents, forwarding results to other facilities for root cause analysis.

· Participate in monthly safety meetings with Branch Managers to analyze accidents/incidents and prevent recurrence.

· Conduct unannounced audits on warehouse safety training and evaluate trainers' performance.

· Analyze accidents, incidents, and training data to identify trends and update PPE and training requirements.

· Perform facility safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

· Conduct routine safety meetings to keep employees informed and educated on safety program changes and incident prevention.

· Assist management and supervisors in addressing safety policy violations and accidents/incidents.

· Delegate safety tasks to employees as needed to promote participation in safety programs.

Training/Quality Responsibilities:

· Develop and conduct safety and quality training sessions for company personnel as directed.

· Assist in directing the company's training and process improvement initiatives.

· Coordinate internal audits and management review meetings, preparing reports for continuous improvement.

· Facilitate toolbox meetings and training sessions on quality and safety issues.

· Coordinate continuous improvement projects and analyze Quality Management System processes.

Qualifications:

Understand and align with the company's goals and objectives.

Collaborate with safety/quality coordinators in other facilities for continuous improvement.

Exhibit effective leadership and motivation for audit teams and employees.

Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
