Senior Associate, Fund Finance (Private Credit)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate in Fund Finance (Private Credit) based in Toronto. This role offers a competitive salary range of Can$85,000 - Can$126,000 and the chance to work with a global investor and asset manager with a long track record of creating value for clients and shareholders. As a Senior Associate in Fund Finance (Private Credit), you will play an integral role in supporting the financial operations of our client's closed-end private credit funds. Your responsibilities will include reviewing financial reports, supporting transaction execution, completing compliance deliverables and providing input on team projects. You will also have the opportunity to interact with various corporate groups at the company, including Tax, Legal, Compliance, Investor Relations, Information Technology, and the Investment Teams; as well as third-party vendors such as Fund auditors, Fund administrators, banking partners and Finance IT vendors.
Review accruals and billings, management fee calculations, post journal entries in internal accounting system
Prepare investment interest accrival schedules, perform cash and position reconciliation
Monitor, assess and implement new accounting pronouncements impacting the Funds under US GAAP
Assist with special projects within the team or in collaboration with other corporate groups
The ideal candidate for this Senior Associate role will bring a wealth of experience in fund finance. A strong understanding of US GAAP reporting guidelines is essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
