SOMMAIRE

En tant que directeur technique, niveau de jeux, vous évaluerez les exigences en matière d'outils et de méthodes, préparerez et adapterez les outils qui seront utilisés dans la conception de niveau tout au long du processus de production, participerez à la sélection du moteur chaque fois que possible. Vous fournirez également un support à l'équipe pour les autres concepteurs de niveau concernant les outils et méthodes sélectionnés et pour leur intégration des cartes dans le moteur de jeu.

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Lire les documents de conception de jeu pour identifier les besoins techniques de l'équipe de conception de niveau;
  • Tester le moteur sélectionné ou développer et suggérer des améliorations à l'équipe de programmation;
  • Développer ou rechercher les meilleurs outils et méthodes afin d'améliorer et de faciliter le travail de l'équipe de conception de niveau;
  • Tester les outils et méthodes avant leur mise en œuvre et s'assurer qu'ils fonctionnent correctement tout au long de la production;
  • Produire les outils, méthodes, formations, processus et référentiels de contraintes moteurs;
  • Créer, organiser et animer des sessions de formation pour tous les membres de l'équipe de conception de niveau afin qu'ils soient en mesure d'utiliser correctement les outils et les méthodes;
  • Coordonner l'utilisation des outils et être un point de contact entre les équipes de conception de niveau et de programmation;
  • Communiquer régulièrement les contraintes techniques et leurs justifications à l'équipe de conception de niveau;
  • Rédiger la nomenclature des fichiers créés par l'équipe de level design;
  • Fournir un support technique constant sur les outils et les moteurs pour chaque membre de l'équipe de conception de niveau.

EXIGENCES DU POSTE

  • Baccalauréat en informatique ou en génie ou formation / expérience équivalente;
  • Minimum de cinq (5) ans d’expérience en tant que concepteur de niveau technique;
  • Expérience de travail sur 1-2 jeux publiés de la conception à la sortie, de préférence sur un titre de console ‘AAA’;
  • Connaissance approfondie du moteur de jeu Unreal;
  • Bon esprit d'équipe et compétences pédagogiques;
  • Capacité à s'adapter au changement;
  • Motive et inspire les autres à générer de nouvelles idées;
  • Bonnes capacités d'organisation;
  • Solides compétences en coaching et en leadership;
  • Très bonnes compétences en rédaction (documents techniques);
