Reporting tothe Senior Manager Cloud Engineering, you will joina team primarily responsible for the Day-to-Day Operations and Maintenanceof IATA’s Azure Cloud (Office 365), AWS Cloud and On-Premises (VX-Rail /VMWare) Environments. You will be also responsible for maintaining andupdating the Unified Infrastructure standards.
What your day would be like- Day to day running of IATA’s Azure,Office365, AWS and On-Premises infrastructures.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot Azure, AWS, andOn-premises (VxRail) alerts.
- Maintain IATA’s existing DNS, DHCP andExchange Hybrid infrastructure.
- Windows Server Administration.
- Work on cloud engineering issues andtickets in IATA ITSM tool.
- Troubleshoot OS (Windows and Linux) andapplication problems (IIS).
- Participate in projects and RFPs thatrequire Azure, Office365, AWS Hosting or general operational needs.
- Manage the relationship with ApplicationSupport Teams, which includes external vendors, with new applicationonboarding and daily operations.
- Implement and maintain automation toolsacross ITS focusing on Azure / AWS which include Terraform, Argo
- Manage a continuous integration/continuousdeployment methodology for the server-based technologies.
- Follow all best practices and proceduresas established by IATA as part of the Unified Infrastructure.
- BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience can substitute for a BS degree).
- Certification on Azure Platform (Microsoft 365 Administrator or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Azure and Office365 Platform
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Windows, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
- Experience in Amazon Web Services like building environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, Kubernetes etc. AWS Certification will be an advantage.
- Experience in DevOps tools such as Atlassian, Bitbucket, Azure DevOPS, etc.
- Experience in Linux operating system environments.
- Experience in scripting with PowerShell, Python,
- Experience to create and utilize Terraform templates to automate creation of AWS environments.
- Experience on Microsoft Certificate Authority and Citrix Environment will be an advantage.
- Skill and ability to train others on technical and procedural topics.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
