Position Summary

We are looking for a Product Sales Specialist to join our team and help us grow our Humalite product line in the Canadian market. Humalite is a unique soil amendment that enhances crop yield and quality. As a Product Sales Specialist, you will report to the sales manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Prospect and manage sales leads for Humalite, using various channels such as phone, email, social media, and referrals

-Segment and plan customer interactions to focus on the greatest opportunities

- Visit potential and existing customers on-site, demonstrate the benefits of Humalite, and answer any questions they may have

-Work with key distributors to develop and refine account plans to align with operational goals

- Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote Humalite and generate new leads

-Establish and grow B2B relationships at multiple levels with the customer, from sales agronomists to location managers

-Prepare, practice, and deliver effective presentations for both virtual and face to face interactions

- Monitor competitor activity, ensuring appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated

- Negotiate with customers on price, terms, and conditions, and close sales deals in a timely and professional manner

- Review customer opportunities and provide input on the sales strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy

- Ensure customer satisfaction and contract fulfillment throughout the sales cycle

- Collaborate with product experts to identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities for other WestMET Ag products

T ypical Physical Demands

Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Requires mobility sufficient for working in an office environment and to travel.

Typical Working Conditions

Hybrid/Remote office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work. Trade show/Conference and field Travel required as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • B2B sales: 3 years (preferred)
  • Agriproduct Sales: 1 year (preferred)
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
