Sustainability and reverence for nature are central to our values, as we believe nature itself is a sacred guide.Position: Product Designer (Outdoor Gear)Location: Vancouver, CanadaJob Description:We are seeking a talented and versatile Product Designer with expertise in garment technology, industrial design, and fashion design. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating innovative outdoor products, with a strong understanding of materials, production processes, and technical specifications.Responsibilities:Develop concepts and designs for outdoor gear, including fishing vests and accessories for dog walking, from initial sketches to final prototypes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technologists, and marketing specialists, to bring designs to life.Create detailed technical specifications, ensuring products meet quality standards and production requirements.Conduct research on materials, trends, and new technologies to enhance product innovation and sustainability.Oversee the production process, including material selection, manufacturing, and quality control, with a focus on sustainable practices.Ensure designs are both functional and aesthetically appealing, meeting customer needs and market demands.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Textile Technology, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory. 2+ years of experience in product design, garment technology, or industrial design.Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.Strong understanding of materials science, textile technology, and sustainable production processes.Keen eye for detail and aesthetics.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Be honest with your pals and yourself.Our Philosophy:At our core, we believe in creating opportunities and breaking barriers.
