Position Summary As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and driving the company's HR initiatives forward. Reporting to the President, the HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy development, and compliance with Quebec and Canada employment laws.Main Job Tasks, Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the full cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and facilitating the offer process;Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees;Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.Review, enhance, draft, and develop relevant HR programs, policies, and procedures in line with the current and future needs of the organization;Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented while maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations;Manage employee performance review cycles and ensure timely completion;Prepare and distribute HR-related communications, such as policy updates, company news, and employee announcements;Work closely with management to address employee relations issues, support conflict resolution, mediate disputes, and provide guidance throughout the process;Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, and time and attendance records;Develops and maintains various processes and activities (performance management, employee surveys, trainings, exit interview, processes, etc.);Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various HR projects and initiatives.Manage and maintain socials benefits provider/ programs; (Health insurance/Wellness accounts, RRSP, OPUS and Loyalty program);All other related tasks.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field (preferred)Minimum 3 years of HR experience;Bilingual French and English (spoken, read and written), required;Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management;Strong understanding of Quebec Labour law and compliance regulations;Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).Key CompetenciesGood interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
