Finance Coordinator

Our talented team of developers, engineers, and business strategists is transforming our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) into the standard solution for multi-agent systems, serving enterprises, governments, and educational institutions worldwide.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee and optimize Botpress’s financial health, reporting, and planning as we grow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to partner with executive leadership to ensure Botpress maintains a strong and scalable financial foundation.
As our Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in developing financial best practices, optimizing our reporting and budgeting, and supporting Botpress's growth through sound financial planning and analysis.
Develop, oversee, and continuously refine our budgeting processes to enable strategic financial planning and resource allocation.
Cost Control & Analysis : Analyze financial data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to optimize costs and drive profitability.
Audit & Compliance Management : Lead financial audits and manage compliance with regulatory standards to safeguard Botpress’s financial health.
Strategic Financial Planning : Partner with the executive team to develop and implement strategies that support Botpress’s growth goals.
You will be asked to find processes ripe for automation and guide implementation.
Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, financial reporting deliverables, and analytical reviews
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights for executive decision-making.
Systems Knowledge : Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and Excel; Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (required); Accounting Standards Knowledge: Demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results
Language: Fluent in French & English
