Atlantica Project Engineer Position
Atlantica is recruiting for innovative and collaborative candidates for a Project Engineer position in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. As a key member of the team, you will support project managers in the delivery of assigned projects.

Reporting to the Director of Operations – Mechanical, and working in an exciting and collaborative environment, you will:

# Participate in all aspects of assigned projects to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery
# Provide reports on project status to Project Managers
# Participate in project meetings regarding mechanical issues and handle technical inquiries
# Maintain professional working relationships with the General Contractor, client, and consulting engineers; Collaborate with Project Services, Finance, Safety, and Estimating teams to ensure project schedule and delivery are on track
# Work with Superintendents, Supervisors and Foremen in the field
# Work closely with the Estimating team to integrate bid and project methodology, as well as throughout the project on estimating project expenses
# Manage change orders, prepare documentation for claims, ensure monthly progress bills are accurate and issued
# Collect timesheets from field and format reports for payroll and cost control
# Participate in debriefing session when projects are deemed substantially complete

Bachelor of Engineering degree and/or relevant work experience
Drafting experience using Autocad is considered an asset
Experience preparing technical report/presentations, and managing engineering drawing revisions
Strong computer skills – including expertise in Microsoft Office applications
Permanent, full-time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
