In the role of Electronic Equipment Assembler, you will be joining a skilled Production team, collaborating to deliver industry leading, high precision battery testing equipment. Responsible for performing various tasks related to the production process, this position includes the technical assembly, wiring, inspection, installation, and packaging of equipment to meet the needs of our local and international customers. Adept in hand soldering, the ideal candidate will have experience in electronics and the ability to quickly grasp technical assembly concepts, while providing agile support to meet tight deadlines when required.Responsibilities include:Assembling environmental chambers, system infrastructure, and corresponding wiring/cablingBuilding battery cycling units and battery cell holdersInstalling, mounting, fastening, aligning, and adjusting parts, components, and wiring to harnesses and subassembliesDemonstrating proficiency in hand solderingFollowing production schedules with the ability to adapt to evolving timelinesPerforming electrical safety and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systemsFollowing detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications to ensure products are built to meet quality standardsReworking and/or revising equipment and products according to engineering specification changesMounting equipment, connecting, and dressing cables; packaging and crating customer orders in accordance with shipment schedulePerforming repairs or modifications to products and circuit boardsParticipating in continuous improvement activities to enhance production efficiency and qualityMaintaining a safe and organized work area, including properly storing tools and materials and adhering to ESD preventative measuresYou are/have:Post-secondary degree or diploma from university or technical collageMinimum 2 years’ experience in an electrical/electronic field, production, or manufacturing environmentCompetent with a wide variety of production, soldering, and wiring toolsIPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 an assetAttention to detail and ability to work with precisionResourceful when it comes to problem-solvingComfortable with ambiguity and a changing work scopeCollaboration with team members and across departmentsAble to prioritize and maintain multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to manage stressDiligent and well organizedOne dream.
