Shipping and Distribution Supervisor

Spinrite is the largest craft yarn and sewing thread company in North America. As an industry leader focused on driving growth and execution excellence, we are looking for a Distribution Supervisor to join our growing Distribution team.
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring operational responsibilities are carried out in an effective and efficient manner. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the department’s team members are clearly informed of their roles, responsibilities, and performance targets.
Assign associates tasks to complete warehouse functions such as: receiving, replenishment, order-filling, shipping, quality audits.
Generate labels that are required to complete orders and for quality concerns.
Create Work Instructions as well as visual control documents.
Maintain the facility budget in close partnership with DC Ops Manager and DC Manager
Responds to crisis situations where the health and safety of others may be at risk.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
