Job Title: Logistics CoordinatorScope of Position: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining tracking and documentation of all inbound domestic or import vendors. They make decisions regarding freight brokerage, update the ERP system, maintain the receiving schedule, and ensure receipt and invoice matching. The role primarily deals with inbound logistics and supports the Supply Chain Department.
Responsibilities- Track Purchase Orders and their movement once shipped.
- Maintain a tracking report of all outstanding purchase orders.
- Book all receiving appointments.
- Communicate with Freight companies, resolve issues, and review rates for competitiveness.
- Prepare paperwork for Finance department as part of 3-way match procedure.
- Identify discrepancies with invoices compared to Purchase Orders and advise the buyer.
- Have close communication with Distribution Dept. as it relates to the receiving dept.
- Interact daily with Customs Brokers and Truckers.
- Maintain small buyer/planner portfolio.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated team player.
- Excellent investigation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both official languages is required.
Minimum 1 to 3 years in a Supply Chain role in a manufacturing/distribution environment preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and advanced Excel skills are assets. Strong logistics background is beneficial. Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field is desired. CPIM Certification or on track to be certified is an advantage. Knowledge of ERP software systems is necessary.

Salary$47,000 to $56,000 per year based on experience.
