Trans Mountain operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 300,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta and British Columbia, and 111 kilometres of pipeline in Washington state.

As an Intermediate Facility Integrity Compliance Engineer with Trans Mountain, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced group of Engineers. The role will manage the development, implementation and maintenance of the Facility Integrity Management Program (FIMP) as an element of Trans Mountain's Integrated Safety and Loss Management System (ISLMS). Primary responsibilities will focus on supporting the Facility Integrity and the various elements of the FIMP, including technical standards, procedures and project execution documents.
This position will be based in Calgary and will report to Manager of Facility Integrity.
Coordinate the development and implementation of the FIMP as an element of the Trans Mountain Integrated Safety and Loss Management System.
Organize and contribute to the updating of Facility Integrity standards or procedures
Identify requirements of the Facility Integrity Management Program and implement necessary changes and improvements
Support regulatory compliance efforts by preparing for, attending and responding to audits (both internal and external)
Provide technical support to Operations, Engineering and other Trans Mountain stakeholders, as required
Provide assistance in the management of facility integrity records and databases
Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (any discipline)
Minimum 6 years of experience in Pipeline or Oil/Gas industry
Eng Designation with Association of Professionals in Engineering and Geoscience in Alberta (APEGA) is required
Proven experience working in a Compliance-focused environment is required
Proven technical writing experience is required
Pipeline and/or Facility engineering experience is preferred
