Our client, a leading firm is currently looking for an IP Legal Assistant. National law firm that offers a full suite of legal and business solutions to clients in Canada and around the world.
Office conveniently located in Downtown Toronto

Draft, prepare, format, and revise all correspondence and submissions for Intellectual Property Offices;
- Contact Intellectual Property Offices to resolve inquiries, status updates, changes to paperwork and follow ups;
- Requisition new files and maintain a record of all client files and client data;
- Liaising with billing analyst on prebills and invoices;
- Conduct searches for and downloading patents, trademarks, and designs, using foreign and domestic databases, as requested by the lawyer;
- Legal Assistant Diploma/Certificate or Law Clerk Degree;
- 3+ years of Legal Assistant experience in an Intellectual Property group;
- Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
