What you'll be doing

The Data Mesh Enablement Lead is a key member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics Enablement team. Our mandate is to e mploy tailored approach to support each Line of Business strategy and transform and accelerate the BI/Analytics (BIA) experience within CIBC. We are here to enable our business partners to seamlessly adopt data analytics tools and capabilities and make data-driven decisions in an efficient and secured manner.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Data and Analytics Enablement, this role is a key role to drive the One Enablement team vision and the successful incumbent will be responsible for leading a team to onboard different Lines of Businesses to the Data Mesh Architecture. The role is also to provide leadership and establish effective collaboration with key enablement teams across organization to accelerate user access journey, and advance data and analytics maturity for our stakeholders no matter where they are in their analytics journey .

Success will be attained through partnering with various data intensive projects & initiatives as well as key business stakeholders. The role will share subject matter expertise in CIBC processes, methodologies, data flows, system integrations, application dependencies, and Information Security and Data Governance and Management requirements

Who you are

  • You have strong background in Process E ngineering : L ean six sigma, Agile are a plus

  • S tro ng know ledge of CIBC b usiness acumen : While the technology aspect is important, you posses a strong understanding of how our various business units operates include contract center, Capital Market, Risk and Privacy .

  • You can demonstrate experience in working in an internal consulting team with a focus on enterprise enablement- data management, process engineering, business intelligence and managing large scale, complex projects and teams in the financial services industry . Exposure to data consumption is an asset with a focus on data requirements for enterprise wide initiatives.
