The successful candidate will be able work on their own while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. The position will be fully remote, Monday to Friday, with exact hours to be determined. The successful candidate must maintain a can-do attitude and thrive on delivering client service. Attention to detail is key, and ownership of your work is highly valued. In this role you will receive mentorship and the opportunity to significantly impact the growth of Liberate.Title: Logistics SpecialistDepartment: OperationsReporting To: CEOLocation: Remote Work Hours: FlexibleSalary Range: $60,000 CAD-$80,000 CAD, Based on ExperienceCore Responsibilities: Design Ocean & Air Freight solutions for new and existing clientsCoordinate and manage operations for international shipments, including filing eManifest, completing MAWB, HAWB, MBL, HBL and manifestsPrepare and process all necessary customs documents for international shipmentsMaintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure transparency in forwarding shipmentsProcure transportation services from Trucking Companies, SSLs, NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers) and other logistics providersEffectively negotiate and communicate with both senior executives and shippers at various companiesTrack and Trace all shipments under management daily and updating TMS to ensure accurate information is displayedDevelop a strong relationship with each client and become our champion with the clientCollaborate with different internal departments and key team members to ensure standard of client care is achievedWork in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing action items to maintain a high level of customer serviceUtilize TMS system to track and analyze data related to shipments, inventory, and customer ordersMonitor and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsBe a brand ambassador for Liberate both on the road and in the communityAdditional responsibilities as required by Liberate LogisticsRequirements:Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in using TMS systemsMust have CIFFA certification, Dangerous Goods Certification is an assetMust possess 3 years of Freight Forwarding experience, combination of Ocean Freight & Air Freight experience is preferredExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record keepingEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
