ASSISTANT CONTRÔLEUR FINANCIER
PRINCIPALE RESPONSABILITÉ
Sous la responsabilité du directeur financier, le contrôleur adjoint est chargé d'aider à la mise en œuvre du nouveau système de comptabilité financière, d'améliorer les rapports financiers, la modélisation et les prévisions.En outre, il participe à l'élaboration du budget annuel et à l'audit. Les principales responsabilités sont les suivantes
- Configurer et personnaliser les logiciels financiers pour répondre aux besoins de l'entreprise, en veillant à ce qu'ils s'alignent sur les processus existants et les normes d'information financière.
- Diriger les efforts de migration des données, y compris le mappage, la transformation et le rapprochement des données des systèmes existants vers la nouvelle plateforme, en veillant à l'exactitude et à l'intégrité des données.
- Élaborer des rapports financiers et des tableaux de bord à l'aide d'outils de reporting intégrés ou d'intégrations, afin de permettre une analyse et une prise de décision efficaces.
- Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour intégrer le logiciel financier à d'autres systèmes d'entreprise, afin d'assurer la fluidité du flux de données et la performance du système
- Documenter les processus financiers et les configurations logicielles, y compris l'analyse des besoins, la configuration du système et les procédures postérieures à la mise en œuvre, afin d'assurer un partage clair et accessible des connaissances entre les équipes.
- Diriger la modélisation et l'analyse financières pour les cas d'entreprise, les projets et les initiatives dans le but de fournir des informations significatives susceptibles d'étayer les décisions tactiques et stratégiques :
préparer des analyses et des recommandations spéciales. - Élaborer, appliquer et améliorer des modèles financiers intégrés pour soutenir le développement de projets d'investissement et l'établissement de budgets internes.
- Participer au processus de planification du budget annuel
- Déterminer les méthodes et les données de prévision, en utilisant les indicateurs internes de veille stratégique et d'autres sources externes.
- Préparer des rapports et des présentations ad hoc sur les prévisions financières.
- Préparer des rapports de prévisions financières et des indicateurs clés de performance pour l'équipe de direction.
- Travailler en collaboration avec toutes les unités opérationnelles du groupe, y compris les ventes, les opérations, les finances et d'autres équipes interfonctionnelles, le cas échéant.
- Veiller au respect des politiques et réglementations financières internes et externes.
- Contribuer à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de contrôles internes efficaces afin de garantir la protection des actifs et la fiabilité des états financiers

Compétences et attributs:
- Formation:
Licence en commerce avec une spécialisation en finance ou en comptabilité. - Titre de CPA
- 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire (comptabilité financière, analyse financière, finance d'entreprise)
- Excellentes connaissances financières et comptables
- Compréhension des flux de trésorerie, de la modélisation financière et de l'évaluation.
- Expérience des logiciels comptables pertinents et des applications Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Maîtrise de MS Excel (exécution de formules complexes) et de MS PowerPoint
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale (anglais et français)
- Capacité à travailler sous pression et à respecter les délais
- Capacité à préserver la confidentialité des informations
- Capacité à travailler en coopération et en collaboration avec les employés à tous les niveaux
- Expérience de la présentation à l'équipe de direction
- Capacité à prendre des initiatives et à travailler de manière indépendante

ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the CFO, the Assistant Controller is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the new financial accounting system, improving financial reporting, modeling and forecasting. In addition, assisting with the annual budget and audit. The main responsibilities include:
- Configure and customize financial software to meet business requirements, ensuring it aligns with existing processes and financial reporting standards.
- Lead data migration efforts, including mapping, transforming, and reconciling data from legacy systems to the new platform, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop financial reports and dashboards using built-in reporting tools or integrations, enabling efficient analysis and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the financial software with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system performance.
- Document financial processes and software configurations, including requirements analysis, system setup, and post-implementation procedures, to ensure clear and accessible knowledge sharing across teams.
- Lead financial modeling and analysis for business cases, projects, and initiatives with a goal of providing meaningful insights which can support both tactical and strategic decisions:
prepare special analysis and recommendations - Develop, apply, and improve integrated financial models to support the development of investment projects and the establishment of internal budgets
- Participate in the annual budget planning process
- Determine forecasting methods and data, using internal BI metrics and other external sources
- Prepare ad hoc financial forecasting reports and presentations
- Prepare financial forecasting reports and KPIs for the management team
- Work collaboratively with all business units of the Group including Sales, Operations, Finance and other cross-functional teams, when applicable
- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial policies and regulations
- Assisting with the development and implementation of effective internal controls to assure safeguarding of assets and reliability of financial statements
- Other related responsibilities, as required
Skills & Attributes:
- Education:
Bachelor of commerce with major in finance or accounting. - CPA designation
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (financial accounting, financial analysis, corporate finance)
- Excellent financial and accounting knowledge
- Understanding of cash flow, financial modeling, and valuation
- Experience with relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Proficiency with MS Excel (running complex formulas) & MS PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and French)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with employees at all levels
- Experience presenting to the management team
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- High execution skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
