Inventory Control Specialist

Saint Laurent, QC

We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our client based in Saint Laurent, Quebec. The Inventory Control Specialist will be involved in the logistical management of all parts required for assembly and for product delivery. Responsibilities

  • Perform shipping, receiving and material handling activities using dollies, pallet trucks.
  • Handle the receiving process in SAP using appropriate transaction codes.
  • Participate in mid and year end inventory counts.
  • Check the calibration equipment list.
  • Manually assemble electrical and mechanical components by using current technical drawings under supervision.
  • Manage all materials to be recycled.
  • Follow safety rules by keeping the workplace clean and safe at all times and wearing personal protective equipment's (safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection).
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with ERP systems
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Experience with SAP would be an asset
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical components would be an asset

Nous recrutons un spécialiste en contrôle des stocks pour notre client basé à Saint-Laurent, Québec. Le spécialiste en contrôle des stocks sera impliqué dans la gestion logistique de toutes les pièces nécessaires à l'assemblage et à la livraison des produits. Responsabilités

  • Effectuer les activités d'expédition, de réception et de manutention de matériaux à l'aide de chariots, de transpalettes.
  • Gérer le processus de réception dans SAP en utilisant les codes de transaction appropriés.
  • Participer aux inventaires de mi-année et de fin d'année.
  • Vérifier la liste de l'équipement d'étalonnage.
  • Assembler manuellement des composantes électriques et mécaniques en utilisant les dessins techniques actuels sous supervision.
  • Gérer tous les matériaux à recycler.
  • Respecter les règles de sécurité en maintenant le lieu de travail propre et sûr en tout temps et en portant des équipements de protection individuelle (lunettes de protection, chaussures de sécurité et protection auditive).
  • Effectuer d'autres fonctions et tâches assignées par le superviseur.

Exigences

  • Minimum 3 ans d'expérience dans la fabrication
  • Minimum 3 années d'expérience de travail avec des systèmes ERP
  • Bilingue (Français/Anglais)
  • Connaissance de SAP serait un atout
  • La connaissance des composantes électromécaniques serait un atout
